Thank you for your interest in Bykota Ministries. The goal of this website is to provide you with information concerning Bykota Ministries. In the following pages we will introduce to you the history, structure, vision, doctrine, and direction of Bykota Ministries. Additionally, we would like to introduce ourselves and make you aware of ways in which you may become involved.

Every organization has a culture that defines what they do and how they do it. We are confident that after you spend some time with us, you will have a sense of our culture. A big part of our culture is the desire to be real. We approach this idea with the concept that we should be real people, living real life, with a real Christ, in a real world. At Bykota Ministries, we are fully aware that life is complicated and, at times, can be a full contact sport: jobs, financial pressure, family conflicts, and the general stress of life come together to make this life a very interesting existence. It is in this real life that we are to experience a real Christ. We know that we can't live by gritting our teeth and trying hard. We are looking for an authentic life in Christ through which we experience His truth and grace, and find ourselves changed by His transforming power. All of this happens in a real world. This life we live happens every day. Bykota is not a continual series of meetings in a building, but rather a community of people living in loving supportive relationships. Real Christianity is our main goal. We do life together as we are, with our hopes, dreams, talents, and imperfections. We are people who know the absolute best and worst of each other but still love one another unconditionally.

You will discover as you explore this site that we do church a little differently, but you will also discover that we believe that Christianity is best expressed in relationships based on kingdom principles. Jesus' ministry was completely based on relationships, and as a result we have structured our life together with this relational concept of Christianity as the backdrop to all that we do. We hope you will enjoy your time with us.
